AOD dip stick tube?

AOD dip stick tube?
How is the dip stick tube removed from the trans? It appears to just pull out but I don't want to ruin something by just yanking it out ( I plan to replace with a flexible one) Thanks

Speaking of AOD dip stick tubes, mine doesn't have one. Where does one get one? I guess junk yard. S'ppose I just answered my own question.

What year is the AOD? There more than one dipstick tube (knowing Ford, there's prolly dozens). Look on the left side of the case for a metal tag with a FORD ID number on it. Post it here.
