Having searched many threads, I would be really nice to have a single location that lists the part numbers of all the filters needed. Once updated, can this then be moved to the Tech Folder.
I'll start: Others add as you know (Beachbumcook, you usually have a good collection of these).
Fuel Filter:
.....International...1847170C92 (includes both filters)
OR........1847170C93 (includes both filters)
.....Motocraft....... FD-4604
.....Motocraft....... 3C3Z-9N184-CA
Oil Filter:
.....International...1840752C91
.....Oilguard.........PF-L2016 (do not use #2016)
.....Fram.............CH9549
.....Motocraft......FL-2016
.....Motocraft......3C3Z-6731-AA
I believe that the 3C3Z part numbers are actually Ford part numbers not Motorcraft.
Also a note on the International part numbers. Just give them the first seven digits, ignore the C and the two numbers after it. They just stand for the change level. These numbers will change every now and then and the parts guy will just give you whatever the current one is when you give him the first 7 digits. For example if you go in and give the parts guy the number 1840752 today you will most likely get the C91 version, but a month or two from now you may get a C92 or C93.

Thanks all for the updates. This is what I was hoping for, all in one place. Print this out and keep it in the truck, that way no questions when you get to the parts counter (or store) as to what you will be getting.
If you go online to www.dieselfiltersonline.com there is a good cross reference listing of filters for diesels. Click on 6.0 and then the filter you want to look for.
since we're on the subject of filters ? does anyone know the part numbers to reference for the FASS ?
i'd like to get the 3 micron hydro/fuel filter and the water separator, i have access to
Baldwin filters for free through work, but dont know what the matching part numbers would be.
I know its not a filter, but how 'bout adding the part number for the replacement water drain plug (replaces the 6mm allen wrench plug)? I'm printing this and putting it in my truck.
