Just kidding about the rims. Just promise that the truck don't get the 20" plus rims with the almost no tire on them.

Wink Why Alloys?

NOT going to New Jersey? Maybe you better call out some contacts in Joisey to help Cervini's "see da light"! Now about wheels, is Brian going to be a work, and his truck in a dark place friday? I actually like the alloy wheels, and think that expedition wheels are what I would like to find. Either them, or Lincoln wheels, though I am inclined to like the Expedition wheels better. Ford not only makes painted steel wheels, but a chrome plated steel wheel, and, a steel wheel, with a chrome-plastic overlay! I am thinking that less unsprung weight would improve the truck's ride. With the stiffer frame, the outward-moved springs and shocks on the rear, and the wider, bigger springs, that is a lot going on for a light XL standard cab pickup. I wonder if Ford makes different rate springs for the standard, super, and crew cab trucks, or if it is the same on all the F150's. Anyway, any little bit will help. Maybe it's just a combination of things that are fine for an XL work truck, but not what you would want to use for an "everything" truck. It is stiff mostly in city driving, Highway speed, it is fine. Thoughts anyone?

Hey RidgeRider3, Don't worry, I don't think my budget (retired millwright) will cover 20's and the rubber to surround them. Probably wouldn't help the ride, either! LOL

Yeah, wheels are next. No choice now, the grille made the wheels look even worse! (Is that possible?)

Talking Cruise ADDED!

Well George Ruff, after a little talk with Customer Service at Ford Headquarters, I was told that the cruise "Could indeed" be added to my truck, and it now has cruise added, and it is great! Total, after a little dickering, came to $190.00, even with MD tax, @35.00 less than buying it as an option! Now, to find some nice alloy wheels!.........

Talking Fun with the grille!

Electric windows might yet be added. It's so darned easy to get used to using buttons, but a PITA when they fail! I don't believe that there is a "Cruise" problem with the 04 and newer trucks, but if there is, then they can fix that under warranty too! I am having a lot of fun with the grille, I catch a lot of Ford people looking at it going down the road, even caught a Chevy guy staring at it on the road two days ago, and it is absolutely guaranteed to get looks when I drive onto a Ford lot. They look hard at the grille, and one salesman today even walked to the back to see what it said on the tailgate! I always tell them, looks a H... of a lot better than what Ford sold me, doesn't it? So far, no disagreement! Yes,I am having fun with that grille!
