I always thought that a truck was work vehicle that had two doors and a bed big enough to actually put something bigger than the groceries in.
Sorry but I don't understand the idea of a 4-door truck. If you want a people hauler get a van and if you want a hot rod with super and nos the get a car that was designed for such things.
Just my opinion.

Look at the Lightning. that's a 2 door truck. It can hold 800 pounds in the bed. It can tow a 5,000 pound trailer. Of course it can also pull circles around most other vehicles on the road and run 1/4's in the low 14's, stock. And what is wrong with a 4 door pickup with a bed. Not only can you haul your family, but you can go down to the farm and pick up a load of mulch when needed. I see no problems here....

Great points on this site. You strap on a S/C and/or nitros to a stock engine and you can almost be guarenteed that it isn't going to last long. Why would you do that to an engine that isn't going to be that fast even after your done. If you want speed go get a mustang gt and add a few bolt-on's and burn rubber all day. Ride the wind, dust of imports and have fun.

I've never got the hype about supeing up a truck. I can totally understand bolt on and minor upgrades, I've got several, but Trucks are just that-- trucks. I think the Lightnings are awesome and if I had 30 grand in the cushions of my couch, I'd be all over it, but outside of that, save your money. Take that 3 grand for the supercharger the grand on the nitros, trade in your truck and go get a vette or a sports car. If you want torque or can't pull your bass boat well enough, go get a SuperDuty or a killer V10.

My point is if I was going to go fishing I could go and cut down a tree, wittle for 2 months and get a fishing pole. Then I could piece together and jury-rig a reel and braid twine for some line. I could melt plastic in my wifes frying pan and make a plastic worm and head to the lake

OR

I could take my *** down to walmart and get a 40 dollar setup and save myself time, money, and end up better in the long run. Just my thoughts though...
