hey the kanc sounds awesome. im new by the way and have an 89 f-150 xlt lariat with an I6 and a 5 speed im just finishing up putting back together. the kanc is a much better choice then mount Washington because unless you have the best brakes and the best cooling system, you won't make it up or down. its possible but the kanc is a lot better and a more of a scenic ride with trails and cruising!

Hey 89frank...an official welcome on the NE thread... ...are we going to see you on the 16th?? I believe we have a few meeting points off of I93...one in Salem and one in Manchester if I remember correctly. You're more than welcome to attend...we'd love to meet you!!! There will be folks from the Boston area, the northshore, southeastern NH, wester Mass, western NH, just to name a few. Looks like at least a convoy of 10+.

Nice... to know I won't be the only 87-91 in this convoy. Any of them there CT boys making this run?

Ok, I will bring chili and will try for ribs...depends on the check the week before and whether or not I need to stomp the pedal. Any idea as to where we cook at?

NHTriton suggested Echo lake park in post 100..

<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">
If you start in Lincoln then do the Kanc through to Conway, you can do your grilling at Echo Lake State Park.
Sounds like the plan...

Get up early and you can make it...Omlets at my house that morning.

So anyone coming from the south and passing by my place can have a great breakfast. Maybe I could spring some Pancakes on the grill with thick smoked bacon.. Darn now I made my self hungry. Awwww Real Maple Syrup too.

It looks like we can make this trip. Where is the meeting place in Manchester? I'll be coming into Manchester on 101 from Fitchburg. Around the airport.

Hey Puppypower...good to hear from you...as I remember the last time you were on the NE threads you were asking if you could test drive something we had. Unfortunately, that car has been sold...would you like to test drive the $49.50 one??? Look forward to seeing you on the Kanc!!!

Hey, I just wan't to check on something. Are we going to grill rain or shine? If so, I will plan in bringing something for grillin and chillin! Also, NASCAR has a race at Loudon that day. Will this be a problem with traffic as it sounds like we are planning on going to Concord, or am I messed up with the plans?
