Question 59 f100 poly gas tank?

Does anyone know where I can get a plastic or fiberglass gas tank for a 1959 F100 that would go behind the seat? I only seem to be finding steel ones.

LMC has tanks, but they don't say if they are made of steel or poly.

I saw those at LMC and I thought they were steel. The search continues....

I dont think there is an in the cab tank made in poly or glass, its probably a liability issue. Something to do with changing from steel to something else could end up in a lawsuit I would think since its inside the cab.

I have had only 1 poly gas tank but had 2 seperate leak issues with it and **** canned it. I didn't even try to sell it because of the danger it posed. The poly tanks may be great but I will never own another. The first leak started about a year after the first gas was introduced. I found some special glue to patch it and put it back into service. About 6 weeks later another leak started in a different location than the first. It was not worth the risk to patch again.
