Long beds are not in demand, especially with a 6 cylinder engine, so the value is way less than a short bed with a V8.
Popular: Short bed Flareside pickups with a 292 V8 engine.
Rust never sleeps, and when salt is present on the roads, these trucks rust badly-everywhere.
$500/1000 is fair if the truck is rust free. Rusty = for parts only value.
4WD doesn't add a lot to the value, regardless of whether the truck is a short bed or not. With front and rear leaf springs, these trucks drive and ride like oxcarts.
