That is interesting to see a Saleen supercharger instead of the Roushcharger. Steve Saleen's creations have been treated like a red headed stepchild by Ford for a lot of years.

I'd like to see a regular cab version... that would be the truck I would buy.

 

Yawn. Unless it's underrated like the Lightnings were that isn't going to be that impressive. The same power as a Lightning installed in a 1000 lb heavier truck.

 

i read 450 horse not 390 so it would seam as they would be just as fast as a 2002 2003 lightning even with the extra weight

 

And unless that's a very conservative rating it isn't anything special. The Lightning rating was 380, but they made alot more than that. Most put around 350 hp and 440 ft-lbs to the wheels in stock trim. That's about 430 hp and 530 ft-lbs at the crank. Ratings are a joke and waste of ink.

 

They're a good running truck but still wont touch even a stock L
