Has any of you frenched an antenna into your cab corner. I am thinking about do so on my 55. I just wondered how functional it would be that close to the side of the cab. And if anyone has......PICS PLEASE.

Donnie, a friend has a really sweet old school 55 with frenched antenna at rear cab corner, I'll try to get a pic for you.

 

Thank You I would appreciate it. I think doing it will be fairly simple. I just dont want to do it if I can't use it.

 

I've been thinkin of putting the antenna into the stake pocket; thought it would be easier and more effective.

I frenched in the antenna on Gracie in the corner of the cowl, the stock location. If it worked surface mounted it should work frenched, it's not that deep. If you have reception problems, you could always substitute a hidden antenna making the frenched one just cosmetic, who would know the difference?
