you mean 16.5'' rim? those are still available through a bunch of .gov liquidation sites and offroad suppliers but you generally have to buy 4 or more at a time. never seen them in any other rim size, least not in like 10+ years that i can think of....

Actually, I believe that they're out in California. They also have 100% tread 37"x12.5"x16.5" tires for $200 a piece. I think they charge $75 a tire for freight for 37"s.

I've ran 37 MT for a year, pull great, ride great, over all a great deal. I'm running a 250 7.3, and don't have body roll with 6 inches of lift. Got mine with 95% left, still have about 90%

Sounds good. I'll be running them on my F-350 soon

Anyone know what the 37's actually measure for height? I'm looking at some for my '74 and I'm wondering if they'll fit with no lift. I had a set of the 36" bias ply ones and they fit just fine but seemed to be about 35 inches when mounted and installed. Hoping the 37's will fit - it's a really good deal!

Mine should be coming in later this week or early next week. I'll measure them for you. I've heard that they truly measure 37" or just a hair over. Not like some of the off-brand 38"s that measure 35"...lol

I've got an '88 F-350, 3" lift, front leveling lead, and I've test fitted 38"s (actual 38" measurement) and they fit without rubbing, so I know I'm good with the 37" humvee tires. I don't have tons of experience with your generation truck, but I think 37"s are a stretch if they really measure up...

I think they will be close. Maybe the guy will let me test fit them before I buy them. I would be interested to know how tall they actually measure.

Haha, they have about 30% left, but they shake over 40 on the road... Never ran them on my truck but to test fit. Just got them old tires because I wanted those 16.5" aluminum wheels they were on that actually have a decent weight rating to them. The other 33"s that you may be able to see in the back of the truck are what I was running before. Still got good tread on them, but they're some loud tires...

Good luck. I had a BRAND NEW set of these a few years back, and got rid of them before they were half gone because they sucked so bad in the mud. Absolutely horrible for use as an off road tire

Having a rust free and nice older truck, I don't plan on screwing i up in the mud... I agree that they aren't aggressive tires like you'd need in the mud. Kind of figures since they're military tires, and we've only been fighting wars in dry rocky/sandy places.

I've heard that they're pretty good for the sand and for rock crawling.

I only end up using 4x4 slightly to get out of my driveway when it's snowy, on boat ramps, and the occasional drive on the beach. In this case I was worried more about road noise than mud traction. If you need it to run in the mud, these tires aren't the top choice...
