Talking new guy! painting his truck!

well, im new here, but not new to FORD's (im a diehard LINCOLN man!) and my fammily has always owned ford trucks, well I picked up this 97 lariat for cheap in great shape (second owner now) and the one thing I detest is gold......its ugly on anything, so I tored it down to spray it up! Please keep the "I should do this", type comments to yourselfs, Ive been doing custom paint for 15 years and have owned 2 shops and done 1000's of vehicles so here ya go!

Too bad you are not in Cali, I would hire you in a second to paint mine. Sweet looking trucks.

I live south of ADEL out in BFE! lol, all I have now for a shop is my little shop behind my house, that I do alittle side work in. I used to own SOUTH GEORGIA CUSTOMS in Valdosta, but sold it years ago, I still do my work under that name. As for pics look at my yahoo 360 page http://360.yahoo.com/my_profile-VjQm...FjHnEBQ--?cq=1
custom painting is my love, I can do it day in and day out, but I havnt worked on my own stuf in years so thats what Im trying to do now.

Wow doesnt even look like the same truck. I am getting ready to paint my 78. I have some rust to fix an I am shaving off the drip rails. I had to due to rust behind the pass. side drip rail. No body makes replacement ones so off they go. I actually like the line with out the drip rail. I may have to add a peice of metal dowh the back side of the door to fill part of the gap it leaves but otherwise it is just going to take a little molding in to smooth it out. This is my first attempt at painting anything so any painting prayers will be greatly appreciated.
