That was the Motor vehicle Branch display plate.

Everry notice on the piece of paper that the sticker comes on ?

So you mean they just had it hanging on the wall? That's why it is so pristine. Not a scratch on it. Do you suppose that a person would be able to register it?

I wouldn't think so... I would think it has to fit into the regular numbering scheme from 1969

Call AMA tomorrow and ask them .


EDIT: I just checked a LP site and it shows the correct detail for what you have.
If no other vehicle has that they may register it for you if you have a 69 Truck

Thanks I'll check with the local registries this week. i am still hoping to find a 1948 Alberta plate. The search continues.

They usually sell between $20.00-$40.00

Send me enough for the plate and postage and I'll send you the plate and the change.

Can you get one in good enough condition to be registered or will it be some bent up pos that was used to plug a hole in a grainery?

I would never buy a damaged one. I would get the best quality for the best price.

Tomorrow in Edmonton there is an antique & collectors show going on.
