Why Change Now????

Because it is a 1 day Truck show that is nice that is why.
Kittens is open Sunday and gives more room for those that can't make it on Saturday to go there on Sunday..
Keep in mine that we should when we set a date for something we should stick to it..Like Kittens was a Sunday deal at first but then gone to a Saturday then back to Sunday..In my eye's it is kinda of a cluster..
From now on the way I see is that when we set something up we have to stick to our guns..And me as chapter leader needs to take the Bull by the horns and run with it..I am open to sugguestions by all means I want to hear from memebers for sure..And willing to go any where that could promote the chapter..
We should print off spotter cards and pass them out to possible new members..And this chapter is not going to grow just by a few working it over all the time...

I only suggested the Saturday event after I found out about it and through it out there as an option..
When we find other items of interest we need to see what others think about it.. Don't just shoot it down because we didn't know about it..

The Westminster show sounds like a good idea for a meet!
Unfortunately Mike and I are using our truck that day to help a friend move into his new apartment, so we won't be able to make it.
Summers are great for car shows, so having FTE meets at already organized car shows works well IMO.
I'll try to sniff around for more shows that have a focus on trucks in the New England area and post those up, especially if they have August dates.
New England Dragway in Epping NH always has some sort of event going on.
Fun Ford Weekend is Aug 18/19th, so a lot of you may want to check that out.
We used to go the whole weekend, but then started only doing Sunday due to costs and using up an entire weekend. Sunday is the day they present the awards for racing and showing, so that makes it more fun.
Here's a link to NED's event schedule

I'm afraid I will be out this month too. With the truck ordeal and all this isnt really a good time. I think I found the new ride so that is exciting. Hopefully it will be ready for september, but I shall speak no more about that in this thread... but I still like the ideal of a white mountains ride.

I might be interested in hosting something
I am just moving into a new facility, might run an open house, would love a few early trucks, pre 79' classics too! I will have a nice showing of cars (coupla rare 57 T-birds, 56 F100, some C2 vettes. who knows what else.) I run a collector car facility in Concord/Acton. Just a thought.
