Thumbs up cam/phasers

Got my 04 f150 5.4l 3v back from dealer yesterday. replaced cam phasers both banks. that diesel sound is GONE!! dealer told me the new cam phasers.will not change the performance. so far he's right!! have extended premium package. with $50 deductable.they had my truck for 2 days.also the kluk sound gone!!when shifting from dead stop. dealer greased the drive shaft yoke. dealer told me any future problems please call.. is this a dream????

Glad you got it fixed. How many miles are on the truck? I know I was happy to have that knocking sound gone from mine. Now you can enjoy it.

The cam phasers are makeing some noise on mine does it hurt to drive with them that way or should i get them fixed?

If i under stand it right its just the noise! i was told the cam phasers dose not hinder performance, but if you still have warranty go for it, iam glad I did, good luck.

Actually only 44500 miles.dealer replaced them at 10000 because all the vibration problems.. come to find out it was the rear brakes not releasing..
