Just bought an XLT with the tow package, but we did NOT get the air leveling suspension....and we did not check it with our horse trailer until after we bought. We love the Expy, but I need to get the back-end level - what to do?

1) I have not found any aftermarket kits (yet)....anyone know of anything?
2) Is it possible to install the ford parts after-the-fact?

Daystar makes a kit for the 07s. 2" levelling that you can install on either the front or rear... or both.

 

Reviews seem to be positive (though have not seen one for the expy)....and it has no moving parts to break. I will post a review once installed (ordered today).

 

Why don't you just use a weight distributing hitch. Safer, no unnecessary vehicle mods and depending on the type of horse trailer you got and the number of horses you drag behind you; required.

 

not familiar with a weight distributing hitch...wassat do? If it will level the vehicle and keep the nose down, might be worth a look.
