I like the c6 automatic, and I like automatic tranny trucks myself for hitching up trailers and manuevering around tight places.
Franklin, I respect your knowledge. I'm knew here and learning a lot. My question... I have an 83 bronco with 300 inline 6 and a 4 speed. I want to swap the 4 speed with a sm blk c6. Will I need to shorten the drive line along with all the other conversions. Also will I need to replace the radiator as well. Thanks

Hi Franklin2.You have it backwards. The 302 uses a 28 or 50 oz external balance depending on year of build. The 300 is 0 balance on the flexplate or flywheel. The 300 is an internally balanced engine.
Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.

The 300 is "balanced", meaning it has no weights on it, it's perfectly balanced by itself. The v8's are "unbalanced" meaning they have a 50 or 28oz weight on them, unbalancing the flywheel.

Whatever, we are all on the same page.
