B100 approved for some CASE/IH ag. equip.

Here is an article from Case/IH about approval of B100 in some cases. Also what is needed to store B100.

Great news. I think the rest of the manufactures will be approving higher uses of biodiesel as more testing is completed.

The article suggested the use of a microbial in the fuel tank. Any of you regular users of BD use it in your tanks? I was planning on producing a bulk amount and using it as needed but this sounds like I probably should produce smaller amounts and use it up fairly soon. Any comments?

Too bad your not near me here in Chaleston South Carolina. I purchased my first B100 the other day and they dude at the station told me he will supply the 275 gallon drum, deliver it, fill it up and keep me supplied with delivery service for $2.85 a gallon, and if the price drops, I still get the new quantity discount. I know I would use it up but it may be a few months, my question here would be if anyone knows what the shelf life is on BIO? His price on lower quantities was $3.00 so I only got a few gallons but when I saw the big tanks in the storage area I asked about them and that is when he told me about the 275 gallon deal for $2.85 a gallon...What should I do, cause I don't know if this is a good deal and what the shelf life is when it is stored indoors in a tank this size..Thanks for the constructive criticizm I've gotten and keep the suggestions coming..Dave
