Question Front End Drift

I have a 1997 Ranger 4WD which has developed a bad drift to the right. It's a condition that has been getting increasily worst over the last few years, to a point were you have to hold a good deal of pressure on the steering wheel to compensate for the drift. The vehicle has 120,000 miles currently on it. I purchased it new and have never had any work performed on the front end other then alignment. The tires are good, an alignment was done about 1,000 miles ago and all tires were rotated and balanced at the same time. None of these items changed the drift condition. Also it does not appear to be a brake drag problem. Could bad radius arm bushings maybe be the problem. Thanks for any suggestions anyone may have.

Was the alignment done by a reputable shop and did you receive a printout of the before and after settings? Are settings within manufacturer's specs? Normally a good alignment shop will look for any bushing problems.

One way or another, a good shop would have found the problem for the drift and told you what it would cause to fix. Been through the same thing. The shop I fell in love with swapped two tires to find out I had two bad tires with the same bad belt flaw(newer tires)
