And they kick the pants off of the rest of the gassers.
Last race I watched with one of those cars they were ahead by 4 laps on a 12hour LeMans type race.

 

i love the fact that diesel power is comming of age..but racing a diesel road racer against a harrier fighter jet is like racing a huyndai against a nuclear sub...who cares!! one thing has nothing to to with the other...

 

I think it garners attention. It's all about the publicity. It's one of the reasons the factories support racing to begin with, to sell cars.

 

"Garrett" Turbos, gotta like that. I wonder what Shell V-Power Diesel is? Modified fuel, or the same stuff we use.
