Prolly a silly post, but you never know what someone could use. Firewall from top of trans inspection hole up is very nice, with good dash (except for under glove box) and cowl (inside and out) if you can use it, and hopefully live in Florida it's yours.

The most valueable part I see it the toe board area. I know no one who makes this part for the '48-52 trucks and this area is usually as rusted out and the flat part of the floor and they have to custom made which never looks right. I hope someone with a '53-56 sees this before you decide to scrap it. Maybe you could cut this area out and save them on a shelf somewhere and if you bump into someone with rust outs in this are you could give them to them. They's take up a lot less room than the entire firewall.

I know, Guys. I'm sure there is someone out there who would dearly love to have it, but I've done all I can do. It will pain me to drop it at the dump. I may hang on to it a while, as I have 5 acres here, including a "dumpy" hidden area. Bob, what area is that? Just forward of the rusty area pass. side and below the column hole?

This is the part of the truck that some guys (me too ) save to use as a template when working mounting an engine in a naked chassis. You mount it, level it, and there is no guess work on clearance issues. Ever notice all the postings on the very same issue requesting measurements? Most guys around here dont even have 5 acres, so if possible, you may want to hang on to it and "loan " it out when a new builder comes along in your neck of the woods. I would cut the top off of it so it get lighter to move and use. You only need the mounts and wall to use as a template anyway. I also have noticed a trend in the truck mags toward the 53-55 dash in the 56. Hummmmm......

Dave Seward is the owner and can be reached at 619-588-2925. If you read any of the hot rod or classic truck mags you will see his ads. He is working on a pair of custom inner fender panels for my 56 right now...he will make any panel you want, send him a rusted out panel or a drawing and he will make a replacement.

They do have some other interesting items, like a stock trans cover, but with a hump to clear a newer style AT transmission.
Here's a link to their product line: http://www.directsheetmetal.net/pages/ford.html
