Lift questions about Add a Leafs & Shackles

I am looking to add a little lift to my F250. I got the Rough Country add a leafs for the front and rear, 2" shackles for the front to level it, Adjustable track bar and Rancho RS7000 shocks all the way around. I realize that some dont like the ride the Add-a-leafs give and Im ok with that. Im hoping the shocks will help a little with that. Is there any other potential problems with this recipe?

Looks like a good plan to me. I went with the mini-spring pack in front and 4" blocks in the rear. I haven't done the adjustable track bar YET. I don't know where you are getting your parts, but the best deal I found on the adjustable track bar is
Zone Off-Road on Amazon for $100 Zone Off-Road on Amazon for $100
.

That is the bar I bought. Thanks.

I forgot to say I also picked up some super springs that go on top of the leafs on craigslist for $50 and was going to put them on as well. They appear to only engage when there is a load in the back? Does anyone have any experience with them?

I think those Super Springs are basically the same thing as the factory overload springs, which I'm assuming you don't have. They don't do anything when there's no load on the truck, but once a load is applied they hit the stops on the frame and provide extra support.

I have the super springs and I like em. Bumps don't make the *** end rock as bad. But I do need shocks...convincing the wife is the next trick

Well I started the install on the rear today. Spent 8 hrs working and only drank 2 beers you know I was hustling. Got all but two of the bushing drilled out and replace. Energy Suspension kit is working great so far. Drilling and beating the seak spring bushings is very time consuming. I have drill the drivers side spring bushings and then install new bushings and reinstall springs. I got both shocks, passenger side springs, and the sway bar bushings all done. So far so good other than I was expecting to do this in 5 hrs or so.

I finished the rear today. The add a leafs added 4 inches instead of just 2. Hopefully the front will do this too.

Finished project? Im not familiar with that term.

I will post pics as soon as I get the front done. I had to get the truck to the bedliner place to get her new sprayed in liner and fix the front window tint. It sits 6 inches higher in the rear than it does in the front. I hope the front springs raise it up as much as the rears did.

My 2" rear add-a-leaf springs gave me 2.5" then settled to 2" after they got broken in a bit.

Thats what it said on the receipt and the part numbers matched. I hope it will settle some. As long as the front ones match it I will be content either way. I spoke to Rough Country and they said it should. They were very helpful and easy to talk to.

How long did it take them to break in?

I'd say it took about 2 weeks for the back to settle and for the springs to break in.... they were pretty damn stiff at first.
