7.3 turbo valves vs 6.9

hey guys what is the difference bwtween the 7.3 turbo valves and valve seats from the 6.9?

None, they're the same valves. The exhaust valves were upgraded to Inconal for turbo apps. But from what I hear, all new exhaust valves are inconal.

yes, I used SBI brand turbo valves when I did my engine. 36 bucks apiece a year ago.

You can put 7.3 valves in a 6.9.
But do not use 6.9 valves in a 7.3.

so reasion you put 7.3valves in 6.9 is for the 7.3 made them out of inconal?

The valve metal, inconnel, which is more heat resistant was the reason for swapping.
