Clutch Adjustment
My 99 F350 is getting hard to change when stopped and also getting hard shifting to Reverse. I have to put the pedal on the floor and slap it pretty hard, the fluild checks good. Is there a way to give it a little adjustment?

There's no leaking, The clutch feels fine. Its just having to go all the way to the floor before I can shift I have 161,000 on it.It feels the same when pulling or not

Master cyl. could be getting weak. My dads dodge would eat a clutch setup about every 30k miles. Doing what you described, would be full of fluid and just not have the mustard to do the job .

If it was me I would replace the master / slave unit before I got to excited, these are a ford part that comes prebled and ready to install for about 130. to 150.00ish. I just replaced mine, the fluid was full on mine, it just wasn't pushin the forks in. It will take about 45 to an hour to replace and if that don't work you may be looking at taking it apart to see what is going on in there. People much smarter than me should be chimin in about that soon.
