Exhaust Temps and tranny temps?

What are the stock temperatures that a truck will have not hauling anything...
The truck i may buy has gauges but i'm not sure where they should read ...what is too high and what is normal thanks

These are only my opinion, some guys have their own threshholds.
Max EGTs = 1250 Normal EGTs at 70mph = 600-700
Max Tranny = 210 Normal tranny with stock cooler = 110-150
Max Boost = 24-25 Boost will vary going up and down a hill

the exhaust was reading between 550-600 so that was good

the tranny temp never really moved and he sdaid it wouldnt unless i was towing

the boost gauge quit at 20 but i'm still trying to figure out what i am really making

no i have looked at it SEVERAL times and i;m pretty sure i'm going to get it but i dont want to jump into something that is going to have problems so i'm trying to figure this stuff out....I keep finding new things to think and worry about and i want to make sure everything is ok i dont want to get burned

My tranny gauge fluctuates a bit. The max I've seen is about 160 or so. Just tooling around "normally", it's around 140 after it warms up. Of course, all these temps change a bit with the weather. Expect them to run hotter these days...

Az temps running at 160 to 180 in traffic and stops with ac on...engine at 550-680 hwy to work in morning and afternoon.
