What do you guys think.
I was thinking of doing the 6637 mod but I do a bit of pasture driving in sometimes muddy conditions and am worried the the 6637 looks a bit exposed. As an example, yesterday my truck had to pretty much swim about 1/4 mile into a pasture and back out with some calves in a cattle trailer. Took me 2 hours this morning just to get most of the mud from the undercariage.
That sucker is loaded.
I think for the dusty conditions that you are seeing that you would be best suited running an AIS intake.

What I was seeing was some pretty inadequite filtration right in front of a 100,000 rpm turbocharger.
Somebody gave me the idea of using a NAPA 6637 air filter instead and it worked great for a very good price to boot.

..
But it droned a lot and then I installed the AIS and it was a lot quieter.
Depends on what you want to spend, either one of the two (NAPA or AIS) work 10x better than the stock Ford filter.
BTW - how do I get the pic to show in the post instead of just the link?
