holy hell....i have a million vac lines and 2 tubes that run to the cat. all emisins i take it. Can i remove the emissions controls and cap all them off and will the truck run well? without throwing codes. I am doing new exhaust gonna do dials with hgh flow cats...any suggestions...

i removed all the air pump stuff on my 351W with the HD emissions. We have the same emissions set up, just different motors. If remove part of it, you have to remove it allm though. The only part I left on mine of the AIR system is the crossover on the back of the heads. I just plugged that with a bolt where the rubber hose is. I throw some codes when you scan the computer, but no check engine light. As long as the light is off, though, I'm happy. I will admit, though, it did not help the truck run any better. The only thing that helped was getting rid of my clogged cat.
