Black Emblems

Well my boredom got the better of me yesterday. I painted my emblems black for the simple fact that I am not a huge fan of chrome and shiny-ness on my vehicles. Let me know what you guys think.

Yet you have chrome exhaust tips and a chrome trailer ball.

I would have just taken the badges off... it would look better if you invert the lettering, making the lettering silver/chrome and the rest of it black. JMO

I didnt install the exhaust it was on it when i got the truck. as for the hitch ball. you got me on that one.

someone stole your center caps
haha. you dont know how many people ask me about that..it was the first thing my girlfriend said and said it looked bad, needless to say i told her not to ride wiht me then and that got me far....anyway, my reasoning is so that my rims look different and i dont feel like i need to buy new rims. it is the messed up reasoning in my head.

There are no holes in the back of those decals....lol.
I took my back tail gate decal off because, it was peeling.
I bought a new decal from ford.
So yeah no holes.

Looks good! I didn't like the chrome either so I did the same with my badges including the Ford ovals. All have 3 holes behind them. At first I tried to tint everything, thought I'd get it dark enough to cover the blue and make the chrome smoke but it looked blotchy so I just blacked them out entirely. I used the saleen grills on the fenders and moved the f150 badge with the 5.4 Triton to the back.
