Steering column bearings?
Steering locked up on my 2000 250 SD today. Luckily was in town and going slow. Turns out that the bearing behind the steeering wheel disintigrated and locked up, never made a sound nor turned hard before locking up, new one on me? I managed to rip the thing loose before I climbed the curb. Can the bearings and parts be purchased or do you go with a reman column? Just wondered before I went to Ford tomorrow, Thanks.
