Actually, the smoke from Tahoe blew straight East into the valley. I was out of town when it really smoked up but I don't think it blew my way. I'm more South of Tahoe so it would have taken a wind from the North to affect my breathing. We were in Southern Cal for a few days, and when we returned to the area, the worst of it (part 2) was pretty much over. Just a little drift smoke blowing into Carson Valley. Nice clear skies at my house. While watching the news from SoCal however, I was really concerned about if my house might be affected, as the first news report I got was that the fire was South of Lake Tahoe. YIKES!
There were also a couple of fires in my area too, but so far everything has had wind carrying it away from my house. Knock on wood...

Actually, that would have been two Fords. The Highboy AND the Super Duty.
The knocking sound your hearing is just me knocking on the wood in my forehead. It would break my heart to lose either one, but both?!!!
Thanks for the concern guys. Even you Clint. I can feel the love, even through the ribbing. Ha ha ha.
