By my calculations you must be seeing a lot of smoke around your place eh? If you're out clearing brush I totally understand...

Actually, the smoke from Tahoe blew straight East into the valley. I was out of town when it really smoked up but I don't think it blew my way. I'm more South of Tahoe so it would have taken a wind from the North to affect my breathing. We were in Southern Cal for a few days, and when we returned to the area, the worst of it (part 2) was pretty much over. Just a little drift smoke blowing into Carson Valley. Nice clear skies at my house. While watching the news from SoCal however, I was really concerned about if my house might be affected, as the first news report I got was that the fire was South of Lake Tahoe. YIKES!
There were also a couple of fires in my area too, but so far everything has had wind carrying it away from my house. Knock on wood...

Jeez - we all have been worried about you - and you were down in Malibu playing with the girls - and the fires were no where near you!

That is just not fair . . .

Haaaa, malibu? I wish...
More like working on a house in Lake Elizabeth. Nothing fun, trust me. I think I would have druther'd gettin sooty with the boyz and girls fighting that fire. Much more fun.
I leave town and poop hits the fan. Go figure.

Actually, that would have been two Fords. The Highboy AND the Super Duty.
The knocking sound your hearing is just me knocking on the wood in my forehead. It would break my heart to lose either one, but both?!!!

Thanks for the concern guys. Even you Clint. I can feel the love, even through the ribbing. Ha ha ha.

Oh Clint, I don't even know any girls in Malibu. I promise... No need for jealousy.

But if I ever meet any, I'll put in a good word for ya. I share with my friends. Well, some things anyway.
