Basic engine parts (rings, bearings, gaskets, etc) are still available at NAPA but as the first guy said, I would touch one if it needs machine work on it. I'm perfectly happy with my Y blocks, 302s & FEs, all big blocks do is drink a lot of gas but I respect everyone's preferences.
