2007 Owners a Question...

Is your rear glass hatch hard to close? I have to really slam mine to make it lock. In my 2000 I could set the glass closed and put my hand on it and pushing a bit. The 07, no way. It's slam or nothing.

I noticed that on the one that I am getting. I had to get out of the truck twice because the message center said it was open. I thought maybe there was a trick to it that I didn't know.

I had the same thing happen. I opened it and closed it and the message went away.

Also, the rear hatch(whole assembly) doesn't seem to close all the way. I mean you can grab the handle the pull on it without unlatching it and the whole door moves 1/2".Hmmm...

I have to slam my rear glass. The hatch is also hard to judge when its closed completely. There is no handle to grab to check either since it would just open the hatch if you pulled it. Try and reach under the chrome trim and you hit the glass pop button.

I also notice the metal portion of the hatch does not close all the way. I can push on it and it moves a bit. I can hear it move while driving slowly.

No problem with the glass, I did have a problem with the key fob constantly opening it. It takes 2 clicks to open the rear gate, 1 to unlock the glass. It is right under the door unlock button which doesn't help. Had the dealer melt away the connection on the key fobs. Glass doesn't open by itself anymore. I thought it was the window except it always seemed to be right after getting into the car (was fun in the winter when it was new and pre "fixing".
