Anybody have trouble with starting?
I had the superchip in and ran 91 oct gas. It would take up to 5 seconds to start sometimes. I took the chip out (still running 91oct) and it starts IMEDIATELY. I recently filled up with 87 Oct. and it starts slow again. Has anybody else had these problems?

I took the chip out and it still ran rough and back fired when hot. I had a true dual exhaust put on at the same time I put the chip in back in Jan. This is suppose to be a very good high performance exhaust system shop (that's all they do) but I've already been back because they ran one of the tail pipes too close to the rear break line and it made a hole in it.
Now it looks as though the exhaust pipe is too close to the fuel line and causing vapor lock. I had them put a dual exhaust on my old Ford 15 years ago and never had problems with it but now I'm having a different story with this truck. I can't wait to sit in their luxurious waiting room for hours again while they fix it.
Right now the pipes run straight out the back. I guess I'll have them redo the mufflers and tail pipes so they come out before the rear tires.
