93 F-350 460 Dually
I recently purchased a 93 F350 Dually with the 460 engine and auto trans. Is a chip available that will make enough difference to justify it's expense for this truck. I will be towing a trailer weighing about 6500 pounds. The performance seems ok but the fuel mileage is terrible. I owned an older 460 which got about 10 mpg towing but this one gets about 6-7. Is there any help?

BBB: A chip will add 24 hp and 35 ft/lb torque and no mileage gains at about $250.00 or thereabouts. Banks claims 68 hp and 94 ft/lb torque and 15% mileage gain. That is a strong claim. I would talk with other folks that have used the Banks system and test their claims of 15% mileage gains. I know very little about Banks systems for gas engines, but, I do know quite a bit about their systems for Powerstrokes, we have uninstalled 3 in our shop, within the last year.
Thanks
