2001 Ford F250 Suoer &.3 Diesel Air Conditioning Problems

Hello all,

I have a 2001 7.3 F250 that the ac works one day doesn't work the next, I have changed the pressure swith by the accumalator and the gas is good in it. Any Ideas, I looked into the fuse panel under the hood for a relay that either controls the clutch or compressor and they are just numbered so I swapped the ones that had the same numbers around it made no difference, It still sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. There is no clutch slippage for when it works it works very well

Thanks

you are right ty it is the air gap it seems, I am removing the clutch and reshimming it tomorrow. It appears to be a common problem as they get older. Thank you again very much
