hey guys, hows it going? Iam going to jump right into the question and details here....whats the average cost of a complete rebuild these days?? I have a 390 that I want to put into my 1970 F-250 sport custom 2wd. But first, I would like the 390 to be rebuilt. It is from a 1966 ford country squire wagon, it was the original engine, and most likely has close to 200,000 miles on it. It was a daily driver for many many years. so Iam wondering how much $$ I would have to spend to get a good complete rebuild, including parts and maybe some minor mods. so I ask you, what is the average price for a good rebuild job around your area??

Check with the 390 engine forum. The guys in there can give you the best advice on options and costs on the 390.
