2000 EB Trans overflow

2000 EB Trans overflow

I have a 2000 EB 4WD Expy that I have had for about 3000 miles(89000 total). Yesterday I pulled a boat about 85 miles. It was 97 degrees and I was up and down some hills. When I got home there were some fairly significant Transmission fluid spots underneath. Would this be situation where pressure caused the fluid to overflow out? I know that rear ends will do that. Thanks for any thoughts.

Probably so. There are vents on trannys that allow expanded fluid to escape. I'd definitely check the fluid for proper level and color.
