Thumbs down Sandblasting and paint again....Ugh!

I got some more sandblasting done and back part of the 53 frame/rear axle painted tonite.
I really hate the blasting but it sure looks great to get 53 years of rust, dirt and grime off and nice fresh paint on.
The 4,000 lb mini bulk bag of sand is finally going down, the bad part is the cost looks to be more than taking it to the sandblaster`s, the only good part is that this saves the hassle of carting the truck and all the pieces into town.

Everytime I sandblast I swear it`s the last time mainly because I don`t have a proper sandblasting hood.
I`ll get one from Princess Auto in the next day or two, sand in the eyes, ears and everywhere else from using a welding helmet sucks big time.

The problem with taking it to get sandblasted, besides the loading-hauling hassle, is often some of the smaller parts get over looked and left behind at home.
That means more trips, time and cost, I might have some missing parts in the end.

Sanblasting is at least a thousand times worse than the beach without the proper hood and air supply.....
