having problems with my holley

Its a 600cfm vac sec .66 jets and .25 squirtter with longtube headers, accel plugs,9mm ford racing wires and a crane cam energizer I cant get it to idle right if I close the idle mix. to 1 1/2 turns I have a problem turning it on I have to give it like 3 turns so that the truck will turn on with no problems but then it smells alot like gas when idle what can I do to fix this

4160 another problem I have is that if im at a light and step on the throttle about midway and let go my truck will turn off only if im in drive wont do it on park
