A/C Always on
My A/C clutch bearings blew out and I replaced the A/C clutch assembly. The assembly included the pulley and coil. I plugged in the electronic connection when all done.
Since then, the AC blows cold, but it is always on. If I have the switch on the dash set to vent, it is still running. If I have it off, nothing blows, but the condenser (holds the freon) gets all frosted up.
Where do I start checking to see why it is always engaged?
Thanks
I have the standard temperature control.
You mentioned to check if their is voltage always going to the coil. What coil? The coil inside the pulley? How would I check? Would I unplug the adapter that goes into the coil block and check that? What would I be looking for? Would the truck need to be running and then change the selector?
Thanks
