You're scaring me with that mileage. I just roled to 89K and have not any problems like that since my whole tranny was rebuild. There are no temp fixes for your situation. Just remember, the truck ways about 10,000lbs. and the gov kicks in at 110 mph. Not that I've gone that fast sorta.

The Super Duty and I 'danced' our way to Hood River today ~ 48 miles without stopping! Two traffic lights and four stop signs ~ I ran 'em all! Now she's at the Dr.'s getting all fixed up. Tech says it is most likely the Master or Slave ~ just like Jared said ~ so I told him to change both. Dang! This means it WON'T be covered by the clutch warrenty! Oh, well! He quoted $83.00 for parts and $150.00 for the install... We'll see how it comes out when he's done ~ I'm not holding my breath...

Now is that a stock piece? Cause when I was running my truck up I-5 I was burning fuel at over 95mph at places. I rode the whole way never dropping below 88mph

 

It's stock. Mine did the same thing until I installed the programers. Now I'm hitting 110mph. I have one program that takes the governor out completely. Makes the truck a little jumpy at the light.
