It is apparent by the creation of this thread, that a cosmic inbalance was created in the Chapter Forum by your short departure. This might have been due to a lack of estrogen in conjunction with the moon being in Taurus...I don't know!

I any case, CONGRATS! and WB
I'm just tickled that I was missed! Big kisses and hugs to all of you guys!

Don't get me started! You know I can't behave like a 'good mom' should once I get going... It's a good thing you're not 'young and impressionable' any more. This could be damaging!

Some of us need our beauty sleep, such as myself. The next four weekends we won't be home to sleep in. When out camping, first and second light your up. Things to see and do.

I'm test running the new compressor, unloading the new generator so I can reassemble it, and off to get a pair of core engines- The one thing in common, is they are all CL Free stuff.

Hey everybody! I just ahd a REAL intersting day... Had to take my daughter up to Ellensburg for Girl's State and, well, I just posted this little gem on the SuperDuty/Heavy Duty forum ~

2002 F-250, 7.3L, 6 Speed, 97k miles ~

I am 200 miles from home this morning and stop to get some fuel. I come to a stop, transmission in gear, clutch pedal on the floor and start creeping forward. I think I must be on a bit of a hill and step on the brake. The rear tires start spinning and the truck insists on forward motion. The clutch pedal will not come up off the floor, the stick will not come out of gear and I am burning out in the dirt. So, I shut off the ignition. I restart the truck and pry the clutch pedal off the floor with my toes. Put it in gear and go to parts house to top off hydraulic fluid ~ which was not low.

Highway traveling was fine, not any problems shifting into 4th- 6th. The trouble came whenever I had to stop. So, I just throw it in neutral and coast, no biggy. Then the light turns green and she won’t go in gear or stay running. I have to all but start it in gear so we’re starting and going at the same time. Made for some busy driving.

So, I realize that the clutch is not disengageing and the throw out bearing is not ‘throwing out’. The local dealer replaced throw out and pilot bearings in March along with input shaft and 1st -4th syncros. So, I will be taking it right back for some warranty work. My question is this ~ Is there anything I can do to ‘jerry~rig’ my truck so I can get it to Ford without mowing everybody over along the way?

That's either a failed clutch master or slave cylinder. If it was the slave, you would see some fluid coming out of the bellhousing, but not if it's the master. That can fail and bypass internally. Not really sure of temp fixes on that, maybe just learn to drive like it's a semi?

No fluid anywhere... Everything's completely dry... And that is exactly how I got home! She is just a smaller version of a semi, right? Good to know 13 years on the road weren't for nothing! Ha! Ha!
