Has anyone thought of hashbrowns? We're going to need to suck up some grease for from the bacon to get rid of the hang over before the shooting begins. If not, I'm up for some hashbrowns.

*Marty were you shooting or cooking breakfast or both?
I am cooking breakfast and then maybe taking my kid fishing. I am pretty easy though. I try to not make hard firm plans. I would say to count me out because I would spend time with the wife and Kid.

BTW

The pancake griddle is a go and I will bring it. It is around 48" by 24" so it ought to have plenty of space for sausage and pancake and eggs if snowbunny is bringing them.

Will bring a bag of tators. Rick (aka Gunny) is going to bring eggs, and his girlfriend is going to make something for dessert.

Got the Pork Butts today!

Do we still have someone bringing a bag of pancake mix, or should I pick one up from Costco?

Not sure if anyone has volunteered for bacon or sausage.

Lol *enticing grin* Breakfast and dungies is tempting ain't it?

I dunno' about the paycheck timing, the G2G is Jun 22-24 Fri-Sat. Here's a Google map and directions from Glenwood to Freeland, Whidbey Island, that's just 4 miles from the South Whidbey State Park g2g. 180 miles, including a 20 minute ferry ride. I don't know why it charted it the way it did, you guys short of north-south highways over there?

Yup! That's the shortest way. Not only are we short on highways, I'm amazed that you found it on the map. Most maps don't even have Glenwood on them! We're also short on cell phone service, TV reception, radio reception, smog, crime, grocery stores, doctor offices, places to work or live... the list is quite long! But dang we have a nice view of Mt Adams!

We do't have a police department! When you call 911, it's at least a 40 minute wait. We have three county cops on duty at a time for ALL of Klickitat County, so if they're on the east end, it can be 2-3 hours before they make it back! We do have local EMT's though, so if it's a medical emergency, we're covered.

No cops, that's even better (usually). Since everybody knows everybody, a nogoodnick can get community justice, or ostracism, or whatever seems right without getting the law involved.

Liz, I can't believe we're (I) have been littering the G2G thread like this. How about a date in the General Chatter slums?
