At least I feel Ford already start doing his homework. Superior in all aspects. There is already an article in the comparison between these 3 heavy Trucks.Well this is all by now because I get my article today and I am going to enjoy reading how the superdutty smashed the other two. Wow you should readed two. Its title DETROIT'S NEW HEAVY HAULERS MORE TORQUE, MORE PAYLOAD, MORE EVERYTHING! FORD SUPERDUTTY STILL THE BOSS?
CHEVY HEAVY DUTTY GM's BEST YET. DODGE RAM HD A PLAYER AT LAST.

Gotta giggle at you aluminum head comment........The Isuzu has been out now for 6 years(?). Never have heard of it being a problem.
Did we not actually read the HP/Torque numbers of the diesels???
Did we forget that the Allison is a 6 speed to our 5 speed?
Glad we still have the highest rated tow/payload numbers.......that is important to the people who actually buy these trucks to pull max loads.
Can't wait to read those results.......hope Ford pulls it out. But I don't think it's going be the "smash" you think it's going to be.
And here's hoping the testers don't look at the front of that homely '08 Super Duty.

I've seen those Cummins numbers before AND the ones with the 650 pound feet of torque.
Wonder if there's 2 different power levels depending on equipment???
I "thought" the PSD was detuned for the 450.....but all the latest numbers show the 350/650.

no the 8.1 is not dead, it is only available in the kodiak 4500 and 5500. due to emmissions. but for pickups yes.
the cummins has a chassis cab rating that was posted... the regular pickup gets 350hp and 650 torque. (at 1500 rpms I might add) where gm's 660 is at 1600..... and ford's is at 2000.
