Widick Diesel And Performance is a full service diesel repair shop located in Fremont Nebraska, about 25 minutes North West of Omaha. We are family owned and operated and have been at our Fremont location since 1999. Doug Widick has been working with diesel engines since 1976 and opened his first shop in Las Vegas Nevada in 1983. Doug started out with a small one bay shop and in 1986 he made the move to a much larger 4 bay shop where he continued the business until 1996. Doug moved the Widick family to the great state of Nebraska in the winter of 1990 and spent the majority of the early 90's traveling back and forth running the shop.
In October of 1999 Doug and his son Edward opened the repair facility now located in Fremont. Widick Diesel And Performance is a full service 6 bay shop specializing in complete truck and trailer repair as well as major diesel and gas engine repair. We offer transmission and rear end overhauls; electronic engine repair and we have computer diagnostics with the latest technological advances.
While diesel repair on class 8 trucks is the main focus here at Widick Diesel, we are now your headquarters for high performance parts and accessories as well. Our high performance venture began in 2003 when Edward's pulling truck season brought several inquires as to what he was using to gain the extra power during those pulls. Those inquires turned into customer's wanting the same products to maximize their vehicles performance for the type of driving they do. Edward launched the high performance side in late 2003 and it has grown to become a major part of what services we offer. We have become a dominant force in the diesel performance aftermarket.
