Front double U-joint

Front double U-joint
My front double u joint needs to be replaced.Unfortunately in my research I have seen there are 2 versions of the centering ball thing on the flange (shown in photo) Additionally it appears I can buy just the ball kit or the flange with the ball. Price wise it is an extra 25-30 for the flange with center ball thing installed. Leaning towards just spending the extra 30 since I’m on very limited on time and will be counting on my 4x4 in the near future. Any tips on this procedure/way to determine which version I have 2002 ccSb
Thanks

There is a thread on here in which I describe the difference between the two. One is called the Saginaw style double-cardan. The name for the other one escapes me right now. I'll see if I can find that thread.
