Tranny quick upshifting
I want to buy a 1984 F250 Diesel to pull a horse trailer, about 10000 lbs loaded.
When I test drove it, the transmission upshifted 1-2-3 very quickly but softly, is this normal for heavier duty trucks, I was not pulling anything at the time. I "heard" that you can fix the tranny into upshifting that way.
