I would have no clue. Could be a GM plant seeing the only Ford plant I have heard of in Canada is the Windsor engine plant.

By US law, the "Domestic Content" must be listed on the window (Monroney)sticker.

On the SR5 5.7 Double Cab I road tested and posted my personal findings * here on FTE in February:

Tundra: 75%

* I didn't care for it. Poor ergonomics for the overfed sasquatched sized geezer that I am.

Gee, I couldn't see the results seeing that "Built Ford Tough" emblem being in the way and all.

Where's Dodge in all this, at least if Ford is possibly going to rig up a test they should include everyone.

In other words, high probablity of biasness in the testing seeing the source of the testing is done by a competitor.

Smiggs,

Why do insist on attacking my status as an ME? Does that intimidate you? Funny, another Toyoyo Fanboy on another forum used to do the exact same thing. I wonder why? (I consider your constant referral to me as "ME" as sarcastic).

I am not an Automotive Engineer, I am a Mechanical Design Engineer (Custom machine design). Why do you insist on continuously referring to me as "ME"? I am just a Automotive enthusiast like yourself who happens to be an ME.

That proves absolutely nothing. If it was done by an independent company that took NO advertising from car makers, I would tend to believe it. Several of the shots where the F150 is driving over the bumps are shot from the front of the F150, where one can't see the actual bed bounce in relationship to the cab. Also, how would anyone know whether the bed bolts hadn't been loosened? Ford (or anyone else) wouldn't show a video that would reflect badly on their vehicles, would they? I think not.

Of course...ANYTHING that shows the Tundra as inferior in anyway must be rigged or falsified in some way. There is NO way a Tundra can actually be inferior in any way, right Smiggs?

Or vice versa.

BTW, the ME issue would not be an issue if it were never brought up.

Somebody obviously believes it must make one more qualified.

Oh, I'm an assistant MANAGER at McDonalds....

Did you happen to see your beloved Chevy/GMC in the test also. I would think a man of your intellectual aptitude (sp?) should figure out that this test "could" possibly be rigged seeing it's source. Same would hold true if the testing was done by Toyota or Chevy.

Intimidated by your professional status? Not in the least, I refer to you as "ME" because it's what YOU stated you were. I took you for a lawyer before you stated you were a ME if that makes you feel better.

Gee and assuming ( there you go again ) that I'm a Toyoyo Fanboy makes it all the more funny.

Plus it is off Youtube, hardly a place to go to do any "research".

Right?

Right, I did not endorse the video or say it was not biased, did I? I simply stated that in your mind, the Toyoyo cannot be inferior in any way.

This is based on your defense of every claim made towards any potential inferiority on the Tundra. You are a Toyoyo Fanboy, whether you admit it or not.

In certain areas, yes it does. I brought it up only because I was accused of not being able to form an opinion by looking at a frame's construction, when in reality, I design machine frames and have been doing so for 18 years. No, not automotive frames, but structural frames nonetheless.

Keep up the hard work, maybe someday you'll be promoted to Chief Fry Maker.
