bought this CarCode scanner for PC 2 or 3 yrs ago and although has ford enhanced have never really got any benefit from it,to me is hard to undersand
at time I bought this also looked at AE,don't remember the deciding point but from what I read on this forum wish I had went the other way, think price was bout the same
Well, it appears to be robust from the sales page but I am not familiar with it. Have you tried it on the PSD? If you can't get a connection, and this is possible because the 99-03 7.3s are non OBDII compliant, may want to contact tech support.
after a lot of triesand give ups was able to get it to work somewhat bout a month ago
tech support just said to download more upgrades
most of the Ford enhanced tss can't get to run

why are they not OBD-II compliant?
I have a DiabloSport predator programmer, I can read codes.
don't all the auto manufacturer's have to be OBD-II compliant?
are diesels not included?

Weren't required to be so at the time due to their size and weight. That is why I have to select non-OBDII on my vehicle selection menu on my AE or it will not work.
BTW, the Predator and some other tuners are able to read the codes and run some diagnostics. They have the program to see those parameters.
They are ODB-II compliant as far as Communications network but because of rated weight the sensors are not required to be ODB-II compliant and 90% of them fall into the Manufacturer specific category and require special licensing from Ford. Which is why in AE you have to connect as Non-ODB-II to be able to see all 467 sensors and PID's on the truck
yeah, my 02 would not work with the typical OBD-II code scanner my friend had.
I am glad to have the Diablosport predator for its diagnostic capabilities
