Price for locked up V8
Someone offered to buy a locked up V8 flathead I have sitting in a barn.
I think it came out of a '53 car. It has the clutch and bellhousing, pulleys, generator, distributor, carb, exhaust manifolds etc.
What should I price the engine at $50.00 or $75.00 or what?
The guy wants to rebuild it and put it in an old Ford tractor.

Being a complete motor it isn't worthless. I'd say if ou know and/or like the guy, might as well give him a deal, but I figure $150 would be a good ballpark price on the higher side.
If you could prove that the motor isn't craked on the by the valves a good block worth up around 500. but just a sitting "gamble" of a block 100-150 is good.
