Well think of it this way.
Pick the best forum for the actual thought behind the topic.
Some things cross over years (decades) of trucks..those topics are best asked in the system that is related to it.
An Example: Brakes that were the same From 1961 - 1985
A person goes in the steering,brake,etc forum
another Example: My C6 transmission won't shift properly
Post in the Drivetrain forum
Of course if you wish to discuss 73-79's in general then this forum is best.
Just because the vehicle someone is working on fits within the 73-79 years ..doesn't mean the topic is 73-79 related.
A example topic for this forum:
What were the trim differences between the 73-79 trucks ?
Or
What engine options applies to which trucks made from 73-79.
